Are you looking for Father's Day ideas for you or the special Father in your life? From fishing to baseball to golf, SWFL has a lot of great activities to offer Dads. Here are our recommendations for celebrating Father's Day in SWFL:

Fishing Charters: Whether your Dad is an avid fisherman or not, a fishing charter is an excellent way to experience some of SWFL's beauty and wildlife, and catch dinner while on the water. Many fishing charters come equipped with your fishing licenses and all the necessary equipment, including bait. Consider whether you want to try an inshore or offshore fishing experience and how long of a fishing trip you want to book. Then, try one of these highly rated charters in Fort Myers, BeeLine Fishing Charters, LLC, or Offshore Hunter Fishing Charters, or Pine Island Charter Fishing in Pine Island. These charters offer full-day and half-day fishing experiences to fit your needs.

Mighty Mussels Game: Enjoy Father's Day at the baseball field, watching our Fort Myers Mighty Mussels play the Lakeland Flying Tigers. Kids 12 and under receive free Father's Day and every Sunday home game admission. You can get the free kids' tickets at the box office. Your kids or grandkids can also play catch on the field from 11-11:30 am and run the bases after each Sunday home game. You'll also want to join the Mussels for an all-you-can-eat Father's Day Brunch & Baseball from 11-1 pm, which is $15 with your game ticket.

Golfing: Treat Dad to a round of golf at one of SWFL's beautifully designed golf courses. This area has several highly rated public golf courses that would make a great gift or activity for any Dad. Consider the historic Fort Myers Country Club which was frequented by Thomas Edison and Henry Ford in the 1920's, or the Eastwood Golf Course in Fort Myers, which is a championship course with a renovated driving range and practice green.

Old Corkscrew Golf Club is a top-rated SWFL course in Estero and the only "Nicklaus Signature Design" course in the area. In Northwest Cape Coral, check out Cape Royal, a Gordon Lewis-designed course featuring 27 holes and five sets of tees for all skill levels.

If golfing 18 holes doesn't sound like a good fit for your Dad, consider taking him to Pop Stroke in Fort Myers. This family-friendly, putt-putt golf and dining experience is co-owned by Tiger Woods and his team. There are two 18-hole putting courses designed by Tiger Woods and his team and an outdoor, full-service restaurant and bar featuring gaming, TVs, and a fenced-in playground for your kids and grandkids.

Consider one of these activities for your Dad, Husband or Grandpa for Father’s Day weekend and it’s sure to be a good time!
